Quite a week

It has been quite a week for my shop, thanks to being in the right place at the right time (by God's leading). Last Tuesday, a friend told me I was featured in a Storque article about Father's Day. I remember posting on a thread about a Father's Day special for 2 days in May, but who knew I would actually be featured?! That day, I sold 15 cards and quite a few more the next day.

Then, I made it into one of VickiDiane's treasuries and got "exposed" some more.

On Saturday, I saw that the treasury was opening and got one. This treasury ended up being on the top of the hot list when it expired!

So far, since the Storque feature, I have had 38 sales, including 25 Father's Day cards and 14 other cards. I post all this to encourage you to keep posting in the forums and on Twitter. You never know where a post will lead.

finally, a new post!

I've been so busy the last few months with many things. I'll have to post some pictures:) My newest venture is putting some cards on consignment in this great little gallery/studio in Traverse City's Warehouse District down near the Open Space. sweet valentines

It's the end of the year and time to think of the year to come. I want to focus more this year on being a loving person. I've been spending the last few days making some valentines - art that says "I love you." There are no better words to say and no better way to live.

Mailbox Missives

Yesterday I made some new cards for a buyer who liked my "lunchbox love", but needed something a little bigger to mail to her daughter at college. So I made some new cards in the same style, that would appeal to a college student. What do you think?
